..The horrible car crash..

..The horrible car crash..
Introduction
I'm going to talk about a tragic accident that I had to experience for my first time. People died and got badly injured. I helped in every way possible even though I was scared I felt like I had to be the brave one.

One day I slept over my friend Frances’s house. We woke up and in the morning and ate breakfast and cleaned up around the house. I spent the morning with her and then went home around 1:30 in the afternoon. I rode my bike home. I was around the corner from my street and in shock I saw 1 car flipped over and another car crashed into a fence.

I got off my bike and walked towards the car flipped over at the same time I was shaking with fear and uncertainty because I was unsure what to do next. There was no one around and I had no phone or device I can use to get help. The people who lived in the house that one of the car crashed into their fence wasn’t home at the time. The people in the accident was badly damaged. In the car flipped over there were 5 people in the vehicle and 3 people in the other car that crashed into the fence. 4 out of 8 people died in the accident.

I went to the car that was flipped over and saw someone moving so I ran to the person and helped him out it was difficult  but the person finally got out. Then the person I helped out called 111 emergency. Well the ambulance and police was on its way we helped everyone else out of the both cars. The police and ambulance had arrived and the ambulances got everyone safely to the hospital and the police got my statement.

Conclusion

When I was going back home I was thinking about what happened and how could I have helped more. It was a very scary experience for my first time and I don’t want it happening to anyone or myself in the future.

Clap the beat game in music-Rad rythm.

WALT- Copy the beat as the person who did the beat.

Today for music we stood in a circle and we went around the circle as a class and one person would make a beat using our body parts and the rest of the class had to repeat what that person did. We really enjoyed this game and it was a good way to energize our bodies. Here is a short video of what we did in music.

You've encouraged us to be the great students we are today and our experience with you is something we will pass on to the younger students. We will continue to make you proud by doing what we love the most...learning.  You are wise, blessed, loving, sweet, supportive, encouraging, and inspiring. I am going to describe the good and bad things of dogs and a description of what  dogs mean to people and different ways to stay safe around certain dogs.

People have big interest in dogs because they are soft and cuddly and accompany you whenever you alone and you need a friend they will always be there with a  big smile and its cuteness.Dogs are a big part of people’s life because Dogs make people for better about themselves emotionally or physically.Dogs often keep people warm by laying on them or next to them.

Certain dogs can hurt people physically for example biting them scratching them and other hurtful things and the outcome could be hospital. Some dogs can do a lot  of poo’s  around the house and it takes a lot of people’s useful time to clean it up.People have dogs but later on in the future with their dogs  the cost for the dogs food and treatment for fleas  may get higher and they may not offered it in that moment so that  is another negative path for people who have interest in dogs.

Cook Island Reflection

My Maths Goals

MATHS REFLECTION

Today we had a visitor named Miss pie who came in and helped us learn different strategies to answer a question that was connected to fractions. We got in groups of 4 and we got a question each to answer as a group, she gave us some challenging questions to answer but as a group we finally got the answer. As we were learning more things in our session with her we started to understand what we were reading and what ways we can solve the problem.

My groups question was we had to equally share 15 bars of chocolate between 8 people, we solved it as a team by giving each person 1 whole bar of chocolate so that's 15-8=7.Then we had 7 bars of chocolate left that we had to divide for 8 people so we got 4 chocolate bars from the 7 and divided them into halves which means that each person now has 1 hole and ½.What was left was 3 bars of chocolate left so we divided 2 of the 3 and cut them into quarters and then we cut the last bar that was left over into ⅛ and all together they got 1 ⅞ equally between the 8 of them.

 OUR MATHS PROBLEM

The teacher were planning the student's school camp. For their activities student were put into groups of different sizes depending on the activities for that day. They were given bars of chocolate as a snack. Seven bars to the four children going kayaking Nine bars to the five children going to the swimming hole Fifteen bars to the eight children going to orienteering Eight bars to the five children going on a bush walk Was this fair way to share out the chocolate bars? How much chocolate did each group get? Which group got the best deal?
